Malcolm Subban Off Injured Reserve, Knights Play Kings Sunday

Vegas Golden Knights General Manager George McPhee announced today, November 17, the following roster transactions: the team has activated goaltender Malcolm Subban from the injured reserve list and has assigned goaltender Dylan Ferguson to the Kamloops Blazers of the Western Hockey League.

Subban missed 11 games after being placed on the injured reserve list on October 22. Prior to his injury, he had appeared in three games for the Golden Knights and captured his first career victory against the Boston Bruins on October 15. This season he has a 2-0-0 record with a 2.06 goals against average and a .936 save percentage. On October 3, Subban was claimed by Vegas after being waived by Boston.

Ferguson made his NHL debut for the Golden Knights against the Edmonton Oilers on November 14. He was in net for 9:14, made one save and allowed one goal. Vegas acquired Ferguson and a second-round pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft from the Dallas Stars on June 26 in exchange for defenseman Marc Methot. On September 28, the Lantzville, B. C. native signed a three-year, entry level contract with the Golden Knights.
