Proposed Stadium Location Has Serious Parking Issues

The Clark County Commission voted in favor of the Russell Road location for the new Raiders Stadium in Las Vegas — but they still do not have the problem of parking figured out.

There is room for only 2,375 parking spots on the tiny 70 acre lot. That’s 85% below the required 16,250 spot required (that’s one spot for every 4 seats in the stadium).

This would also mean there would be virtually no room for typical tailgating that takes place outside football stadiums.

Stay tuned — options are being explored for an alternative location that would solve this problem.
